"Dear Martin,
Thank you for forwarding this email from Dennis. I would
certainly be very happy to endorse all they have done for
us this past three days. Dennis and pedson have brought a
flavour of African music, culture and laughter to the
school and their passion for their music and their
unfailing cheerfulness have been a real tonic at this busy
time of the year, as well as providing an appropriate
focus for World aims week. I would certainly like to use
them again next year if not sooner!"

"Thank you Denis for the brilliant workshop again on Wednesday, the
children really enjoyed themselves. This is reflected in the fact that
we were fully booked on all of our Holiday Club groups, with nearly
100 children here to see you. I'm sorry that I didn't get chance to
see you before you went - I had to dash over to Dawlish Leisure
Centre."
Many thanks

"Hi Sophie,
Please could you pass on our thanks to Denis.
Not only did all the children have a fantastic
time, but the adults too!! Please also thank him
for staying and being part of our celebration
evening - this was really appreciated. The
children really loved being able to show their
parents what they had learnt.
Hopefully we can work together again sometime."

"We are the students from Berrycoombe School. We are using one of our
mates email adresses as we don't know our own! Anyway, we'd just like
to say thankyou for teaching us today, we think you are a brilliant
drummer. I haven't heard of anyone famous that play as good as you do!
We were all gobsmacked today when you played like you did. Everyone
enjoyed it and had a great time. We wish you could come again
sometime. Anyway, have a safe journey home to Uganda. Maybe you could
come and visit us again some day and play for us again and do us
another workshop. Your drumming is absolutely brill."

"Dear Oli
Just a brief note to thank you for organising the Djembe workshop last
Tuesday. The children involved this end really enjoyed it - I taught
some the following day and all they were interested in was playing our
Djembe set! I think 2 or 3 are seriously interested in joining the
county ensemble. Please pass on our thanks to Dennis.

"Dear Denis,
Thank you for comming to present the African Experience day to our
school. It was wonderful for the children to have so much information
about another culture. You certainly helped them to understand many
facts of life in Uganda with the variety of experiences you offered
them: stories, music, songs, language, games, the meaning of
traditional practices and the wonderful artfacts you brought. The
children really enjoyed being able to sepak swahili and playing the
drums, as you will see from the letters.
Although the whole day day was excellent, we particularly enjoyed the
drumming because it was exciting and you tought us so much in such a
short time. Every child was able to archieve and was totally involved.
We look foward to working with you again."
