Amadinda, also known as the Akadinda, Embaire, or Entaara is an African xylophone, a percussion instrument. 
The wooden keys of the various xylophones of the region can be resonated in various ways to amplify the tones. Amadinda are ideal instruments for learning rhythms for both Children and adults, because there is no need to master a difficult physical playing technique to produce a good sound. Amadinda are great instruments for people of all abilities, since all that is required is to hit with a stick with no pressure on your hands like the Djembe or other hand drums.
