We aim to get traditional and cultural music of raw, We are promoters of Ugandan African cultural traditional music in UK, Europe, USA, We are Promoters of new and undiscovered raw African -Ugandan Musical talent in Europe, and UK, taking African Music talent out to a wider audience in UK , Europe USAUgandan, African talent out to a wider audience in UK and Europe. Music is a common factor between the people of Africa and those in Europe.
We actively promote Uganda bands and artists who have the potential to succeed in the UK and Europe.

Abantu arts Music offers a Ugandan and African music programme dedicated to original cultural and traditional music of various Ugandan tribal cultures
Several of our publications and recording publications are based on field recordings done in Uganda. Abantu Arts Music records reflect living traditions of Ugandan and African cultural music, a real heritage.

One of our Current projects is a trio of Ugandan talent called AFRICA ODESSEY:

In efforts to salvage and conserve African and Ugandan heritage, AFRICA ODYSSEY will performs a repertoire of authentic Ugandan, Stories, poems, songs accompanied by various indigenous percussive, stringed and wind instruments from Uganda and other parts of Africa. The name comes from the group's vision to tell the story of a long wandering and eventful journey of African music and stories.

The trio provide services and performances that reflect the values of African life: family, community, and self-improvement. AFRICA ODYSSEY tours with a company of 3 Ugandan perfumers. This combination of people offers a variety of workshops, residencies theatre productions and public performances.

This band will be touring South West England from June 20th to July 30th, performing to different audiences in Devon. Contact us if you need more information.

Our promotion work includes:


Organising concerts, publishing posters, press releases, producing CD and covers, pamphlets, We also will produce maintain Africa magazines and newsletters which are used to coordinate work of Abantu arts and activities of different existing organizations and arts groups we work with.

We also hope to find financial support and promote cultural exchange. By arranging concerts and applying for funds in United Kingdom for African cultural and education events, we aim to create a cultural exchange program between UK and African.

We hope in the long run to be able to record and distribute music by unknown Ugandan, East African musicians who create and play original African Music. We will give excellent African artists a decent opportunity to have their music distributed in UK and Europe

Our Goals:


●Organise multicultural concerts and other events in England and Europe giving Ugandan, East African artists chance to exchange experiences, skills and understanding in Music;
●Obtaining financial means and credit facilities for promoting artists from Uganda and other parts of Africa;
●Organization and promotion of African Music concerts and shows in different venues in England.
● Market and sell traditional cultural Ugandan music in Uk, Europe and USA.

We are also working to establish a database with information about African artist, musicians, dance and theatre groups or organizations working in UK. Artists and musicians interested are welcome to get in touch with us.
