We bring authentic African drums and African percussion instruments to your school or group and lead students through a memorable experience of music, community, and the discovery that everyone has a rhythm to share!
Emphasis is placed on learning how to play together through listening, cooperation, respect and working together as a team.
We teach about the origins of the different instruments and how they are played in different parts of Africa.
var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-8513429-3']); _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']);
(function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s); })();
All drum workshops are custom-tailored to be age appropriate.
We are equipped to work with Pre-School through High School up to university.
We will bring drums and instrumets for class sizes of between 25 to 30 so each learner will have chance to play their own drum.
We advise that sessions should be between 45 minutes to 1 hour if working with one specific group contineously with out break, any longer than this for kids or fist time drummers would be painful.
Please get in touch to discuss your specific projects
